Dear Honorary Secretary

During the first month of this season referees have had on several occasions to request some players change their boots due to the wearing of illegal studs. I have attached the detail and regulations in relation to same first circulated in December 2014.

Please note it is the diameter of the stud that is the issue. These may be studs other than Nike brand.

You are requested to bring to the attention of the relevant club coaches and players to ensure that they are aware of the requirements. Perhaps the use of the clubs social media may be a way of ensuring all players are aware of the regulation.
